Billabong Girls Surf Team

Surfing as we know today is a very much influenced by economics. It is very rare to find the true nature of a surfer who surfs for the joy of it. Back during the days surfers were back packers who would roam the coasts to find the perfect surfing spot. When they hit it they would call it home. On one of these surfing trips on the gold coast of Australia, legendary surfer Gordon Merchant found one such spot. He decided to settle down there and carry on his craft from there.

The history of Billabong the company starts from there. He started making surf boards and selling them. They were much sort after as they were strong and hand crafted by a man who knew what he was doing. He later upgraded his product line gradually to include almost every conceivable surfing gear. Now the Billabong brand name is a well established one in the surfing accessory industry. The Billabong girls surf team is a team of professional surfing girls who are sponsored by the billabong company. These girls go all over the world and take part in many events. They are a very glamorous and successful team. Professionally they are one of the best teams in the world. They also take part in exhibition events that promote the sport of surfing among the youth. They are a very good team and are involved in many social causes.

The Billabong girls surf team is made up of super surf girls like Silviana Lima, Rebecca Woods, Alana Brennen and Sanoe Lake who make up the international team and Lea Brassy, Joanna, Rocha, Laura Crane who make up the European team. These girls bring style and glamour to the sport and are also very good at what they do. Hence the sport of surfing has benefited immensely from them.
