Gossip Girls Surf
"Gossip Girl" is an American television show targeted at the teenage viewers. It is inspired from the popular book series of young-adult novels written by Cecily von Ziegesar having the same name. Alloy Entertainment has produced this serial in partnership with Warner Bros. Television and CBS Paramount Television. The executive producers are Josh Schwartz, Stephanie Savage, Bob Levy and Leslie Morgenstein and John Stephens. The show premiered on the CW on 19th September 2007. Gossip girls' surf became a hit with the audiences very soon.
"Gossip Girl" talks about the life of the affluent teenagers of Manhattan's Upper East Side and their secrets about a 'happening' summer break in the Hamptons. These teenage characters are Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively), Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley), Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford), Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester), Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick), and Jenny Humphrey (Taylor Momsen) to name a few. There is something interesting in every episode of Gossip girl. Moreover, the cast is appropriate for the show and adds to its quality.
Leighton Meester who plays Blair in the series is known to be a stylish girl in her own right. She is beautiful and the audiences' heartthrob. She was spotted at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards held at Los Angeles on 9 August. Leighton turned a surfer girl to add to the Gossip girls surf when she won a surfboard trophy at the event, along with two other actors in the show. Those girls who are die-hard fans of Meester have started finding surfing to be an interesting sport.
Gossip girls surf the waves of popularity fantastically. This show became such a hit that the CW renewed it for yet another season on 24 February 2009. Along with the plot, Gossip Girl is also famous for its costume design that is done by upcoming designers.
