More Misc Boards: 1 The Firewire Surfboards 9'6 Flexflight Squash, which is part of the Flexflight longboard series, features an EPS core. Its high-density skin and parabolic balsa rails produce an ultra lightweight, durable longboard with the same superior performance characteristics made famous by Firewire's shortboards. The rocker and fin location give the board a great hold while nose riding and also the boards are lively and forgiving through turns. While the fins are not included with the board, the recommended fins for this board are Sidebites and 7 Center fins. The Firewire Surfboards 7'2 Alternator Bump Squash, a part of the Alternator series combines the perfect blend of a short rail line, generous curve and a slightly thicker foil. This produces a surfboard that paddles well but at the same time is still able to turn on a dime. While the fins are not included with the board, the recommended fins for this board are the PC7 inside foil. The Firewire Surfboards 6'0 Quadraflex combines the control of an Alternator thruster with the top end speed of a twin fin. With the wide point pushed back slightly we have managed to create a fuller tail, while still maintaining an even curve throughout. This technique has created a board which can tackle a wide variety of different conditions. This has also enabled the board to achieve extreme speeds. You can add Stretch Quad fins to this board. |
